Anyone out there with more than 4 bikes insured with Adelaide should check their renewal carefully before paying.
They are now putting 4 bikes only on one policy, so the 5th is on a separate policy.
AFAIK, you can only use your No Claims bonus on one policy, so the separate policy would be pricey.

My renewal came in, price looked okay-ish, but no mention of bike no 5
Called them up, they told me bike 5 was not due for renewal until April 2015.
But they could’nt give me a price for the separate policy until March 2015.

Told them this was a gamechanger, and that I would have to look at the other options ( MCE, CN, AXA) as I had quotes for all 5 bikes from their competitors

After a bit of huffin and puffing and speaking to a supervisor, Adelaide came back to me and "Ta-Da", I can still have 5 bikes on the one policy, because I’m special or something ( pays to be old with full license and no claims, or points..etc.etc.:smileee:)
