Hello lads,

Newbie here, both in Cork and in the bike world. So I was wondering if you can point me in the right direction on where to buy gear (helmet, jacket, etc) around Cork…

So far, I’ve only seen one shop in the city but I’m sure that there must be a big shop somewhere with a wider selection, etc…

It’s going to be my first owned bike, so I’m definitely willing to invest in good gear (ie: not a cheap $50 helmet that the only thing it will do for me is keep my hair out of the wind).

On the same token, I obviously don’t want to spend crazy money "just because"… you know what I mean!!

Any suggestions on shops and even recommended brands would be greatly appreciated.
