Finally got my hands on a monkey bike ended up getting one from the states
im not restoring it back to original as that would cost me a fortune so gonna use some tasty aftermarket parts as there is amazing amount of stuff out there for them online. Has headlight and taillight lense and few bits missing but nothing to worry about as basically all I need is frame and engine
So today I set about getting it started. Flused the tank cleaned the carb and fresh oil and a new plug.
So after blowtorching cuppla strange looking american ants under the seat I must have gave her bout ten kicks and up she fired and idled perfect. Took it for a quick spin and haven’t smiled as much on a bike since I had a supermoto:cool3:
Gonna start stripping it during the week and parts are already arriving in post so more pics to follow:thumbsup2:
