OK, I passed theory for A licence and applied for L Permit a week past Sat. At the same time I had code 01 removed (passed my eyesight test!) from my pink, full CAT B licence.

Get home today and new licence is there waiting for me – it’s no different from my old pink licence other than code 01 removed? Nothing in the CAT A section?

Does the Learner permit come seperately? And am I being stupid?
