hey everyone,

ive ended up getting a very tidy 2007 royal enfield and ive been playing around with the idea of getting a front mudguard number plate that says “royal enfield” on it instead of my reg. (like the one pictured)

the question is are these illegal? my Dad was telling me how they became illegal because of how it would cut through a pedestrian in a crash, some places online have been saying that they became non mandatory and died out.

anyone know what the story with them is?
