Folks, just want to get a sense check on current service prices for maxi-scoots.

Dropped mine into a small independent 1-man band for a pair of tyres, oil change, and new plug. Was told in advance tyres were €60 each. All good, I assumed this was a fitted price.

Got the bill this morning:

Tyres €120
Tyre fitting: €60
Service: €100

I just can’t see how this adds up. The scooter takes 0.9L of oil and a single spark plug. The labour rates at this shop are €30ph from previous work, of course you never get a break down of bills formally.

What I was anticipating was:
Tyres – 120
Oil – 10
Plug – 10
Labour (2hrs) 60.

So it’s basically double what I was expecting.

Was I just taken for a no-lube ride? :bag:
