Just got an arrow exhaust for the gixxer which is a k7. The exhaust is a slip on but because the gsxr exhaust is one piece it removes the cat. Is an ecu remap or power commander definitely needed if you remove the cat from a bike?

Not too concerned about power bought more for the noise but dont want to damage the engine if it needs a remap.
