Well, I’ve heard of idiots on the road seen a few myself, on the phone, rolling through stoplines even red lights this lad takes the cake.

Was leaving my fathers house in Killorglin and came to the junction by the (langford street going to Caragh lake, was at the stop line by Ardmoniel if anyone knows the area) got into a head on vs a Transit Van, all 4 wheels on my side of the road.

I don’t remember the accident itself but after going back to the scene I pieced together (my version) of what probably happened, it’s pretty obvious that he was going to apex the corner I wouldn’t have moved off the stop line unless I knew I had more than enough space to pass without him decking me so he wasnt paying attention, didn’t see me coming and went to cut the corner (no skid marks so he didnt try evade/brake) and I hit him head on. A week later and I’m leaving hospital with 2 broken wrists, an f’d up right hand, trauma to my right side and the aftermath of a bruised brain after the concussion.

Moral of the story is, watch your asses, there’s beyond stupid people behind the wheel out there so good luck!

Insurance is doing their investigation hopefully falls in my favour and I’m on the mend living back at my dads in Killorglin.
