Power Output of Bikes for Test – A Heads Up!

Power Output of Bikes for Test – A Heads Up!

We’re hearing a lot of problems starting to come out of some test centers in Dublin from riders turning up for tests.

If your registration document does not have the power output on the bike there is a high chance that the bike will be refused for test. (many older bikes don’t have this)

You must have supporting documentation which includes your registration number proving that the bike is of the appropriate power- a printout from the internet is not being accepted.

We’ve heard of a couple of instances where the bike model has appeared on the RSA list of bikes suitable for the test and yet the rider was refused. The latest one was one of our students this morning!

Refusal means loss of test fee!

Maybe a mod could sticky this one!
