DESPITE a year of success that surpassed all expectations, Burrows Engineering Racing and Manx road racer Dan Kneen will not be racing together in 2015 as team owner John Burrows explained:

"Over the weekend Dan and I had a conversation and he revealed he has decided to seek his fortunes elsewhere next year. I appreciated his honesty and wished him all the best in the future. It is an amicable parting of ways and we have not ruled out working together again in the future. There’s no point in burning bridges.
"I have always said I would not stand in Dan’s way if he felt his future lay away from my team and I hope he continues to progress in his new pastures. I am proud of all we have achieved together in 2014 and I take special pride in having helped him move up to the top level in international road racing. Everyone at Burrows Engineering Racing would like to thank Dan for his effort and commitment during his time with the team and wish him all the very best for the future."

Burrows recalled what his team and the Braddan man accomplished in the season just past: "We won twelve Superbike races in 2014, taking chequered flags at Cookstown, Tandragee, Kells, Skerries, Walderstown, Faugheen and of course at the Ulster Grand Prix where Dan scored his first international win under the Burrows Engineering Racing banner.
