Just back from a week away. Had a great week. Weather got a little hot on Wednesday 36c.

Day 1 – Home to Rosslare

Day 2 – Cherbourg to La Rochelle

Day 3 – La Rochelle to San Sebastien

Day 4 – Toured around the Basque mountains

Day 5 – San Sebastien to Saintes

Day 6 – Saintes to Nantes

Day 7 – Nantes to Cherbourg

Stayed off all motorways & saw every little village in west France.

Petrol expensive…paid €1.74ltr in one village. Covered 3000km over the week.

Parking your bike at side of road for a rest can be tricky as the camber is going against you. Every biker salutes you:smileee:

Did about 500km a day, which took about 6-7hrs

Some great roads over there & great s c e n e r y.

Language barrier can be an issue, but that’s part of the fun.
