Hey guys I have a 2003 sv650. After the really heavy rainfall last Wed I turned the ignition on, i heard the fuel pump but when I pressed the start button it was completely dead. I think I figured out the problem I took the clutch switch out and put a piece of wire in between the 2 connections and the bike started no problem. Is there any issue bypassing the clutch permanently on the sv (I thought I read somewhere it might be if you have fuel injection which the 2003 model is but can’t remember exactly 🙄) . I tried using contact on the connections as well. Also I am aware that the bike will now start even in gear, any help welcomed 👍
