Temperature readings – 2005 ZX6R
So a few weeks ago I picked up the ZX6R as some may recall.
Anyway, the temp gauge reads anywhere from 140-165F (60-74c) when on the move.
When I stop, the bike starts to climb in temperature quite quickly. I’ve not see it go beyond 212F (100c), this was when I was just idling the thing into the back garden.

Is this normal for this bike. It seems that when on the move its cooling off quickly, but once its stopped it gets hot quicker than I would have expected?
