First glimpse of new Scrambler in latest Ducati teaser

First glimpse of new Scrambler in latest Ducati teaser

TEASER videos are often cryptic and self-indulgent, so this one makes a welcome change – because it at least shows us some bikes. Well, bits of them, anyway.

We can make out what we think is the new Panigale 959 as well as the new belt-drive cruiser, both of which have been seen in spy shots.

And we can see a Scrambler. It might be only the tank and bars, but we see it’s orange, and not the yellowy ‘Orange Sunshine’ of the existing Scrambler. We’ve known a new Scrambler is on the way since Ducati launched a dedicated teaser campaign last month. An official Scrambler Facebook page now promises ‘You’ll see something on Friday.’ That’s tomorrow.

Oh, and the teaser video above also shows us the firm’s Desmosedici GP15 MotoGP bike. Why? We don’t know.

Ducati has promised to show nine new models at its press conference in Milan next Monday, ahead of the Eicma motorcycle show.
