Not this one.

KAWASAKI is planning a display of ‘historic’ Ninja models at the NEC motorcycle show – but can’t find a 2004 ZX-10R.

The firm wants to hear from owners of immaculate examples who are willing to add their bike to the exhibition.

It will go on show with the other historic Ninjas at the Motorcycle Live at the end of December. The ‘Ninja Evolution’ display will include the 2016 ZX-10R and the H2R, but at the moment the 2004 ZX-10 is proving illusive, even though there are 519 of them registered on the road right now.

Kawasaki UK Marketing and Brand Development Manager Mark Spiller said: ‘We’re looking for a 2004 ZX1000-C1H to complete our line-up – it’s the first of the modern ZX range and we’d love it as part of our stand to track the Ninja evolution. It needs to be an immaculate machine and have been well looked after. If this sounds like your bike then get in touch.’

To be in with the chance of having your minter of a 2004 ZX-10R included as part of the display, you need to email some hi-resolution images of your bike to [email protected] along with contact details including your name, email address and contact telephone number. Winners will be chosen by the Kawasaki UK team and the closing date for entries is Friday 23rd October at 1pm GMT. The bike will need to be available to be on the stand from November 27 to December 7.

If your bike is chosen, you’ll be given two exhibitor passes for the NEC, entry to the exclusive Kawasaki Riders Club hospitality evening on Friday December 4, tickets to any round of the MCE British Superbike Championship and a Kawasaki goodie bag. Nice.
