Could the Suzuki Recursion be headed for production?

Suzuki Recursion trademark

SUZUKI has trademarked the Recursion name, sparking speculation in the bike press that the turbo-charged concept bike has taken a step closer to becoming a production model.

The trademark application was submitted on September 2 and follows Suzuki patenting the turbo-charged design in March.

The 588cc parallel-twin was unveiled as a concept at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, where Suzuki claimed the ‘neo café racer’ could make 100hp and 74lbft. It was shown with a single-sided swingarm, carbon monocoque seat cowl, upside-down fork and wavey brake discs.

At the start of the year, Japanese magazine Young Machine published a production version rendering of the bike on its front cover.
