Only the naked GSX-S1000 will be available to demo.

SUZUKI has announced a fleet of GSX-S1000 demo bikes will be available to test ride from next month, ahead of the bike’s arrival in June.

The Japanese firm will have eight bikes making their way around the UK as part of its nationwide test ride roadshow.

You can find out when the bike will be at your nearest dealer by visiting Suzuki’s website.

Rob Cooper, Marketing Manager for Suzuki GB, said: ‘This is a great opportunity for riders interested in the new GSX-S1000 to get along to their nearest dealership and take one for a ride.

‘Advanced test rides proved popular for the V-Strom 1000 and given the demand we have received for GSX-S1000, we are really pleased to be able to offer them on this model too.’

Prices for the GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000F were recently announced, revealing the super naked will cost £8,999 plus on-the-road charges, or £9,499 with ABS. The fully-faired version will cost from £9,999 plus OTR.

Identical aside from the fairing, both machines use a retuned engine from a 2005 GSX-R1000 K5 in a new aluminium frame. They’re equipped with Brembo monobloc brake calipers from the current GSX-R1000 and three-mode traction control.
