And this is the 2016 CBR500R.

HERE’S Honda’s updated CBR500R, CB500X and CB500F, which were shown at a press conference in Milan last night.

We knew the CBR500R and CB500X were coming because they were also at the Tokyo Motor Show last month, but this is their European debut.

Updates to the CBR500R include new, slightly more aggressive styling, a larger fuel tank, adjustable brake levers and a shorter exhaust.

The CB500X has also been given new styling, as well as a taller windscreen, LED lights front and rear and new colour options. Both also get a pre-load-adjustable fork.

They were unveiled ahead of this week’s Eicma motorcycle show, along with a new CB500F which aims to tempt A2 licence holders even more with a range of cosmetic and technical changes.

For 2016 it’s been given a restyle with reduced side panels and a new tail unit which make it look a lot sharper and sleeker than before.

The 2016 CB500F also gets a new, larger fuel tank, LED lighting, spring preload adjustable forks, a new lighter exhaust and adjustable brake lever.

It’s not short of colour options either – Ross White and Millennium Red (Tricolour), Lemon Ice Yellow/Graphite Black, Candy Energy Orange/Macadam Grey Metallic, Millennium Red/Macadam Grey Metallic, Pearl Metalloid White/Macadam Grey Metallic, Matte Gunpowder Black/Matte Krypton Silver Metallic.
