THIS is what an updated Ninja 300 might look like, according to some Asian bike titles.

The renderings have been produced by Indonesian website Motoblast for Japanese magazine Young Machine, possibly because it believes Kawasaki will show an updated Ninja 300 at the forthcoming Tokyo Motor Show. In Asia, the Ninja 300 exists as the Ninja 250, so an update to the 250 will be applied to the bike we have here.

In the rendering, the little Ninja’s styling has been sharpened up to bring it more in line with Kawasaki’s larger capacity sports bikes; it’s got a more aggressive front fairing and the seat unit looks it could have come off the recently unveiled 2016 ZX-10R or ZX-6R. The exhaust has also been moved under the bike.

We’ll let you know if it makes an appearance on Kawasaki’s stand at the Tokyo show.
