Right, so basically I bought this noble beast after months of searching for a bigger, more powerful machine than my old XJR1300, literally, only a couple of weeks ago.
All I’ve done since then is put a few miles on, put petrol in it and clean it at the weekends. It was bought from Mutts Nutts after a service , and I have to say that it runs and sounds like a dream, no knocks , bangs, ticks or otherwise. The engine is ticking away like a little mouses heart.
I was extremely pleased with it, but alas, a ‘change of circumstances’ forces the sale, and my need to get out of bikes, for a little while at least.
Life as they say, Is what happens while you’re busy making plans……

I don’t claim to be a mechanic, or have anywhere near as much knowledge as most of the lads on the site, but I’ve been quite pleased with it during our brief time together.
As I genuinely hate, like most of you, lads who do the whole ‘minter thing’ , I feel obliged to point out that it’s a ’98 , and has the usual collection of minor paint/battle scratches etc. to prove it.
There is also a bit of a ding in the left hand exhaust, where the centre stand meets the link pipe, but there are no backfires etc. from the system and it doesn’t seem to affect performance in anyway……:devil:
There is also a crack going across the front mudguard that is not visible unless you’re looking for it, but it is there, and the previous owner has made a bit of a bodge of repairing it. Everyone’s different , but it never bothered me that much anyways.

I’m a big believer in putting up as honest an add as possible, so I’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have. I’ve also tried to list any of the negative points she may have too, to the best of my ability.
Viewings of course, are welcome, but needless to say, test rides require cash in hand. We’re all grown-ups here folks.
