For Sale : Touring trailer (for motorbike).

For Sale : Touring trailer (for motorbike).

Selling my touring trailer. I haven’t used it in a couple of years and it needs to go.

I built this back in 2010 for some "comfortable" :rolleyes2: touring with the kids.

Stored year round in a dry shed.

This trailer was built to eliminate whinging. It has enough room for all of the un-necessary crap your kids or significant other deems absolutely necessary for a camping trip. Deckchairs, table, windbreakers, laptop, hairdryer, etc etc. :rolleyes2:

I used this trailer for about 3 years, heading off most weekends with either of my kids and toured all around Ireland and some of the UK. This trailer is well balanced and is designed with just enough tongue weight to eliminate tail wag. I have had it above motorway speeds with absolutely no issues. It does not budge behind the bike, in fact, it’s very easy to forget it’s there. The Centre Of Gravity on this trailer keeps all the weight off the bike and makes low speed maneuvering a cinch compared to an overloaded, ‘two up’ bike with all of the gear on the panniers, top-box and tank bag. It is hardly noticeable behind a heavy bike. The only time you need to think about this trailer is at corners & roundabouts (don’t cut the corners), when braking (some extra distance required) and when parking (need to plan exit route) unless you have reverse gear.

I prefer minimal camping so I don’t need the additional storage space of this any more. My kids are no longer interested in moto-camping and the wife hates motorbikes so this trailer needs to go to the next owner.

This trailer is only suitable for a heavy bike. If you have a 600, please don’t ask me to sell it to you.

It would tow well behind a Suzuki Intruder (obviously) :lbhbh:, Harley, Goldwing, Pan, Trike etc… If you’re heading away on a European trip this year, this could be the ticket for you.
