Hi guys, it’s been a while since ive been on so I’ll give an update as to what went down in the last couple of weeks. Tomorrow it’ll be a week to the day that my beloved pride and joy was stolen and crashed by some wanker and the insurance assessor took 5 mins to write her off. Gutted to say the least. Moreover, since it’s only my first policy on the bike, I still can’t get insurance on a sports bike but need a replacement for the ZZR600 to keep the insurer happy, but more importantly, me happy. I’ve been looking and have narrowed it down to a couple but I’m open to suggestions too. I’ve boiled it down to a VFR750/VTR1000, Ducati ST2 (I know….I know…) CBR600F or maybe a Hornet 600. This bikes can be found lurking around the 1500-2000 quid mark and all appeal to me but if someone knows of a gem I could be missing out on, please let me know. My policy runs up in January (and because of the claim, don’t get my 1st year no claims bonus) I dunno if hopping on a RR CBR will even be covered before then but the fact I’ve ridden a 100bhp for the last few months have to account for something. Any help guys would be greatly appreciated.

P.s. I did get my bike back but unsure if the insurer will let me keep the ZZR but if they do, anyone want any parts? Have stainless steel downpipes, good tyres, engine and box still intact but L/H engine casing is weeping oil. Sure let me know. Cheers.
