Anyone know how to tell if a Brit bike is wired positive or negative earth if it has no battery and is missing half its wiring….:bag:
Buddy picked up a 50’s matchless and is looking to buy a 6v electronic ignition kit for the mag,but they are specific to positive OR negative earth.
The Lucas regulator has a red wire leading from the ‘E’ terminal to ground at the frame,then onwards to whats left of the loom….so I’m supposing its positive earth….? Should be as far as I can tell….any ideas?
