Hi guys,im new to this and new to road bikes!i recently bought a honda hornet 1996 cb250 (just to start) and as im only 5 foot nothing,is there anyway of lowering it 2-3 inches for confidence at the start??alot saying its not safe and will affect the handling but its just until i get some confidence at traffic lights and junctions,im on the tippiest of tip toes and dont feel very secure!done a bit of googling and there does’nt seem to be anything in the way of lowering a 1996 hornet!loads for 2010 and over but nothing for my 21yr old!easier option is to get a smaller bike i know but i just love the hornet cb250!any info/ideas much appreciated!
