I’m going for my theory test this week to hopefully acquire the A2 provisional license. I’m just looking to clear up a few things first. I want to get a 250cc Marauder as my first bike but as this bike is too big for the A1 I am opting to do the A2. On the RSA website it states that the category A2 limits it to bikes with certain power outputs but doesn’t mention CC. But from another source I was told that the 250 is too small for an A2 license as it starts at 400cc and if I showed up on the 250 for my driving test I wouldn’t be allowed to do it. So basically what are the requirements for an A2 license and does this cover a 250cc bike?
