Gonna go a have look at a bike in Dubland this weekend, ’tis my first bike so if I was to buy it, would it be a bad idea to drive it back to Cork the same day?

My main concern I guess would be driving without insurance for that day and a long trip (longest ride so far was about 3 hours with a small break in the middle). I know learners aren’t allowed on the motorway and I don’t mind taking the scenic route.

If it was in the area I wouldn’t mind it at all but maybe Dublin’s a bit far for a first longer ride?

So, should I take the risk and drive back (granted I can take my time and stop for a stretch) or pay someone to transport it? Cause the only transport companies I’ve seen were doing it for like 250 quid and I’d rather ride it back meself. :lbhbh:
