Hi Guys,

I am just looking to shoot the breeze get some ideas etc. , as I don’t really know anything about bikes.

I have done my IBT and now have my provisional license.
I am now keeping an eye on bikes, but have no idea how or what to buy.
As I am extremely inexperienced I probably won’t be able to test drive a bike.
So I kind of expect to take a punt on a bike, and just use it for the next year or two to get experience and pass the test.

So I am looking for a comfortable reliable bike. I am 21 stone, 6’3.
I have an prov A license. I would like to use the bike for city commuting the odd motorway/ intercity driving, and potentially going away or weekend trips down teh country.

Is there any shops that do good deals on starter bike and gear deals or anything?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as I don’t really have any connections knowledgable in motorcycle stuff?
