Hi Guys, this is my first post and i am running in circles trying to find help on google.

i have previously had a provisional bike license, this has long since expired, renewed maybe 7 years ago, I am trying to get back onto bikes now through applying for my A license learners permit.

Is it required that i re-sit a theory test(i have a full car license).My original bike license was got in maybe 200 for a moped, and renewed in 2011 for a <125cc and then let go out of date. I know i have to complete an IBT for my A to be roadworthy, but id hate to re-sit a theory test especially with a lack of the new ‘social services card’.

Any help would be great, i have a bike at home that needs to be ridden.
