I ended up getting an ’88 Honda Bros about a month ago. I got it cheap, but it needs a bit of love. My problem is that it won’t start.

Got a new battery for it, charged it and put it in. Still won’t start. It started to cycle, and after a while cycled deeper, as if the engine was almost starting, but still no joy.

I am no mechanic, so I don’t know what is wrong. I should note that it started fine when I got it from cold, and repeatedly started fine on the day despite multiple stops.

I don’t think the engine has flooded, since it’s not been used for a month since I bought it. Surely the gasoline would have evaporated by now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
