Not often the Mrs tells you “you have to get another bike!”
Commuting on the lambrettas has become too unreliable so I’ve been ordered to buy something that isn’t going to break down once a week.
Need easy to maintain, easy on the juice, cheap to insure, doesn’t have to be overly sporty but I don’t want another Deauville experience so it can’t have the power to weight ratio of a slug.

Thinking about a new Honda nc750s.
Will this bore me to death on my 35 mile round trip, all weather commute?
What other well built lightweight frugal commuters should I consider?
