Needed a Yamaha key cut during the Lockdown and found that my usual well known (here in the Real Capital, home of the Real Teeshock, Mehole) locksmith, was, eh, all locked up. Wandered over to Patrick Street, to get a bite to eat in a well known burger franchise, which does not have Mc or Mac in its name, and spotted a sign on the footpath, reading something like “Shoe Repairs and Keys Cut”, leading to an arcade that normally leads into the English Market. Old fashioned shoe repair shop, €10 for the key, pretty sure the big name locksmiths charged me €22.50 last time around. Shop local and support the little fella..!
