Hi All

Crashed off my bike when a large delivery lorry cut in front of me leaving me nowhere to go but down the road. He obviously didn’t see me, even with all my luminous gear!.
I braked hard skidded then the bike cut from under me. I managed to avoid the lorry only by sliding down the road.
He’d swung a left across 2 lanes of traffic and then the bus lane that I was in.
Gardai’s said that even though it was a numpty move from him he wouldn’t be prosecuted / liable for the damages to my bike because I was in the bus lane?

So now I’ve no bike and broken bones and the Garda’s said I could be prosecuted for not driving with due care .. ? :bag:

any comments please?
anyone else had bus lane accident experience?
