Has anyone ever heard of being charged to change the bike on their insurance?

I’m with MCE and they charged me over €90 to change the bike and it was nothing to do with a change to the cover, as the new bike was no more expensive to cover. They broke it down into (about) €45 insurance levy and €50 MCE admin charge.

I’d never heard of this before and I’m sure that I changed bike many times before and never been charged. I said I would also be changing address in the near future and that would would also incur a charge!

Anyone been charged like this before?
