Clocking

Clocking

Went to see a couple of bikes over the course of the last week that where obviously clocked to some degree. Got plenty angry at one lad who had owned a Fazer 1000 from new (2003 bike) which he claimed had only 12k miles on it. The fella knew what he was about imo because he had replaced the rubbers on both foot pegs with brand new units and the rest of the bike was hanging. Seriously ive seen bikes with 70k miles on them in better condition. Anyway called him out on it and was told to piss off :lbhbh: fecking chancer.

The reason it’s on my mind today though is earlier on this morning before work I was checking out dungdeal for bikes and noticed a lad put up an add for "mileage adjustment". The add stated no questions asked mileage adjusted up or down and it looked like a pro operation. Reported the add and dungdeal took it down within the hour fair fecks to them.

Now ive heard of a fella get it done for the VRT think he paid 80 euro, so im in no doubt it happens but some lads just take the piss and from the look of a lot of bikes out there at present it’s fairly rampant.. What say you lads/lassies any run in’s with these clocking chancers?
