ok so ive looked at a few threads about this but still not convinced.

ive had a full licence on my bike since the 29/1/14 (before the N plates were brought in)
and just today i passed my cage test.

the tester said i still need to wear the N plates but i was under the impression (says on citizon.ie) that you only need to have one displayed if its your first full licence since they came in.

i went around and asked my local garda station and they said that i need to have one on for the cage aswell. so i dont really want to risk it.

is there anywhere i can find out for sure so i can print it out and keep it in my glove box if any gardi pull me over?
