I recently got anodised paddock stand bobbins, but my paddock stand has flat platforms to fit any swingarm rather than bobbin hooks. They’re fookin crap and have dropped more than one bike on me!

I’m going to cut bobbin hooks out of sheet steel and graft those on, but don’t want to ruin the anodized finish on the bobbins with a steel hook. Has anyone got any experience of Plastidip / Polyurethane varnish / Vinyl repair dips etc?

I’m looking for something thick enough to last and with enough chemical resistance to withstand brake & chain cleaner, paraffin, pooteroil, thinners, etc…
