Right, me garage was broken into in Kenmare, fook awl taken which was a huge surprise. There’s two chainsaws and two outboard engines in plain view as well as an array of power tools, and none of it was touched, so I know well it wasn’t our nomadic cousins. There’s only three things missing. A pair of size 13 agricultural steel toed lined wellies (:eek2:), and my go-to tool set. It was a halfords professional set containing a 3/8 ratchet and full socket set, an extension bar, a small breaker bar, two medium screwdrivers, two pliers, a snips, Allen keys, a multi-tip screwdriver and bits, and quite a few other handy little bastards that I can’t think of right now, all packed into a handy clasped heavy plastic case. A quick perusal of their site shows that halfords don’t do this particular set anymore, so does anyone know of a daycent replacement of good quality? Twas a fierce handy portable little set. I think I’m more upset about that set than about the break-in:rolleyes2:
