i installed a fire door to my fireplace which has a back boiler. now before the door was fitted the flames were going to the back boiler with the damper plate open. with the door on and damper open, the flames are not going to the back boiler. the baffle plate fitted is about 40mm from the back boiler.

any ideas how to get the draft working so flames go up the back boiler?

should i create a new baffle plate that goes over and past the backboiler to direct the draft to the rear of the fireplace back boiler?

any insight would be welcome :bikerie:
