had work done recenlty to my bike and . . . .

Hi all im back,I dropped off my bike 24 days ago to get valve clearances, float heights, carb balance and fork seals.First things first I dropped it off on a saturday and he told me he will start work on it tuesday should be done by weekend great I thought. So week one was a bust he didnt do anything said he got snowed under with other jobs and the other mechanic on staff was sick fine I said. Week two was also a bust couldnt get through to him when I finally did he said he didnt have the work on bike started as parts hadnt arrived and he was very busy still fine I said. Week 3 rang him he had it compression test and was ok he was going start doing the valve clearances great he said he will have bike finished saturday. He txt me saturday and said bike ready so I rang him and said how much etc to find out he hadnt done the fork seals or even the break pads that I asked for him to do when I was on the phone to him. So he said ring him at 5 he might have it done. So I did and low and behold he didnt he doesnt open on mondays so tuesday rolled around and 5 o clock I collected the bike rang before I got there and he said its done. So got there and got the bill which worked out as €400 for labour and €128 for parts then an additional €70 for brake pads front and rear not fitted. Does this seem a bit steep all things considered?

He also said my head stock bearings are going another €200 also really pissed me off is he scratched my right hand main fairing (they were new and mint when he got the bike) so when I paid the man I went off on my merry way and got on to a nice straight main road and the bike wouldnt go over 120km in 6th and seems to dislike going over 14krpm in general hard to explain the feeling I was getting in the saddle. Now the bike will tick over it usent for more than seconds maybe minutes if i was lucky but even when the bike had shite clearances carbs all over the shop it would pull to redline my heart is broken ive already 3000 spent 2000 of which has been repairs and as much as I love the bike I have to draw a line in the sand somewhere :-/ it doesnt want to come right at all
