Considering an F800GT.

I have been driving my Deauville 650 since 2009 and decided it is time to change. I don’t commute on it any more and I want something that’s good enough for a weekend touring.

Wanted to get a R 1200RS but insurance says no.

So, what I need to know is:

How much online abuse will I get for owning a F800GT compared to the Deauville, and more importantly,

What are its bad points?

Going to go down the PCP route, suits my finances at the moment (still paying for wedding last year.. in so many ways :unsure2:). Has anyone else gone that route with BMW and how did you find it.
