Well lads, wondering what the deal is with importing a bike from another Eu country France/Germany.

Apart from the obvious logistics what charges apply?

Vrt I know but I don’t know rates. For example my 2010 S1000rr was cleared last year for approx 430euro.

If I had a 2015 HP4/R1/Panigale are they all the same price or how does it work??

One last thing VAT. I’ve heard that if the bike has less than 6000kms it’s considered new so coming into Ireland you are charged a lot of VAT?

So assuming a fella bought a bike with 8,10,12,000km’s the vat would all be the same and roughly how much??
