Was out this evening and overtaking in 3rd (I think) & dropped a cog while overtaking instead of going up one. Tacho hit rev limit 13k rpm, immediately went up one again to rectify problem.

I presume there’s a built in limiter to avoid damaging engine?

Just curious.
