Anyone here have or had a 690 or similar as an only bike?

I’m considering getting either an SMC or Enduro and if I do it’ll be my only bike.

I’ve been tempted to sell the street triple for something faster like a Tuono or Superduke but then I was thinking something faster will only tempt me into going faster so maybe I should get something thats more fun at lower speeds… :think:

Type of riding I do; I can’t commute to work unfortunately, I get out for blasts locally couple of times a week whenever I’m not in work, head off to do bits and pieces that I don’t need the cage for, head up the mountains once every week or two, and possibly one or two trips down the country a year to visit mates.

I know they’re hard on the arse, would prob get an aftermarket seat. Service intervals are grand these days. I know security is a factor with em but can’t let that be the deal-breaker… would anchor it, disc lock it, cover it and hope for the best.
