Yes quite a dramatic statement all right

I was heading to Maynooth a Saturday or so ago and for some reason some miles back I just had that thought, I don’t know what prompted it, but it was saying to me take it handy, you never know if some dufus is going to come out of a gate or the like on your left.

A few miles down the road I was approaching a well known and busy crossroads, when not 3 seconds from it a car drove straight thru the stop sign and out onto the road in front of me.

As I said previously I was taking it easy and going slower than I usually would at this point.

There seemed to be some serious hand gestures going on from the passenger seat so I guess the driver was a learner.

I didn’t hang around and completed my run without further event.

Moral of the story…..LISTEN TO THE MESSAGE WHEN YOU GET IT.
