Just read a review about a couple of the new bikes out (R1 and the Pani) and all the electronics really seems like overkill.

Active suspension I can see the application but electronic throttles , abs, wheelie control, launch control and all the other bits are just too much. Seems like to sell bikes companies are just adding as much as they can.

I love working on the bike, maintaining and repairing but it seems like that’s going to be gone soon. It’ll be like cages – plug and play systems where noone has a clue about repair it’s all just automated.

I am alone in this? Should I go join the dinosaurs in extinction is does anyone else want the "Old" style of just a motor with basic electronics?
