So last week I finally did a deal on a new bike with the great lads in Clonmel Motorcycles.

I picked up a 2008, Triumph Street Triple in absolutely IMMACULATE condition. One owner from new (who I managed to track down and met on Sunday funnily enough!) With every receipt ever. Full service history, new tyres chain and sprocket. I’m absolutely chuffed.

It’s still on the NI plates – due to be VRT’d on the 25th. Pictures of when I picked it up on Friday below.

Front visor
Remapped for TOR exhausts
Braided lines
Front CF hugger

Went for a long spin to Newry yesterday to meet the previous owner and last night did the following:

Removed pillion bar
Installed TOR exhausts (remapped specifically for them)
Installed Cowl
Installed iPhone holder
Changed clocks to KPH

First impressions – love it. Bit of a hooligan. Easy to ride, lightweight, great handling, comfortable riding position and the same raspy three cylinder out of the daytona. What’s not to like?
