New Bike, New Tyres??

Basically I did my test, passed it and looked at so many different bikes but when I went for a test ride on a 2010 Honda CB1000r, I absolutely loved it. I found it to be really comfortable, easy to ride and the power comes on really smoothly. So I have bought it, I know there are those who will say a litre bike is too big for a newbe but I am an old newbe my little boy racer days are long gone.
I am thinking of changing the tyres it has Metzeler Sportec M7 RR on it at the minute with plenty of life left in them but because it is winter and our roads are wet and greasy most of the time. I was thinking of changing to Michelin Pilot Road 4? I have been reading the reviews on them and they seem to be good in wet and dry conditions and generally all-round are supposed to be a good winter tyre. What do you think?
