Im looking for your opinions on chains, o ring or no o ring??
Im racing MX this season and am looking to order a new chain, but cant decide which??
O ring – longer life and chain holds lube for longer but o rings cause drag slowing you down a tad and I’ve heard they can also trap dirt damaging the o rings.
Non o ring – Shorter life and will need lubing every ride but has no drag.

I will be carrying out very regular maintenance on the bike (13 KX450f) so not really worried about knocking a long time out of a chain and it gets lubed before every ride anyway so Im thinking non o ring to save on having the drag (I know this would be minimal on a 450)
