Finally got around to doing my A2 test and passed it without any problems, although embarrassingly enough I got a grade 2 for not knowing one of the road signs at the start :lbhbh:

Showed up at the Ballincollig test centre around 20 minutes early, the tester said he was about to cancel it cause it just started raining, getting dark (test was scheduled at 15:30) and lots of leaves around but he said since I’m here already I can go for it. 🙂

He took me to the usual spots for u-turn, walking speed stuff, and the estate with all the little turns (those practicing for the test or who have done it should know what I’m on about) 😀
Didn’t do the overtake and didn’t go on the dual carriageway, spent most of the time on a straight road, really.

Did my pretest the same day with Declan from Two Wheel Training (did IBT with him too before), can’t recommend him highly enough!

He was a sound tester to be fair, not trying to trip you up or anything, had a nice chat with him about bikes at the end of it all.:thumbsup2:

Gotta go into the NDLS office to get the licence sorted, but if anyone wants it, I got a “lucky L” tabard to give away :cool3:
