Hey Everyone,

Got a great response to my last post enquiring as to whether I should go with the Yamaha XV950 or the HD Iron 883 as a new bike purchase for this year, all the advice and opinions were greatly appreciated and still are!

I was leaning towards the 883, with pricing being a factor. The 883 was coming in at around 11,500 and the XV950 at 10,500…. 11,500-12,000 being at the absolute upper limit of my budget (which was originally 6000! Go figure.).

However, popping onto HD’s Irish website the 883 now seems to be priced at 12,500…. I’m nearly 100% sure this is a new price increase, appearing in the last month or so….. Would this be a thing? Dealers bumping up the price of bikes coming into the summer months? Or am I just being paranoid?!
